7. Forgery - Observations.

Law might by this means be rendered very concise : but the order
in which the several offences were arranged, would be rather
immethodical. To palliate that inconvenience, the ordinary
systematical order of the several offences might still be
preserved as far as the other occasional principle of arrangement
would permit.

Use of executing them all three. In order to frame a perfect system of provisions relative
to the subject of Forgery the proper way, it should seem,
would be to compose a System upon every one of these three
Plans, adapted to the particular circumstances of the state
in question. The copious plan would be the proper one to
begin with; since it would be the groundwork, of which the
others would be but abridgments.

It might then be worth while to consider more particularly
the effect of various circumstances with relation to
every separate species of Forgery. To consider , to wit,
