§. 3. Course Devices pursued Expedients employed for concealing its influence

§. 3. Course taken by those by whom the obstacles opposition is opposed
to conceal the existence of those same obstacles to conceal
that endeavours to their effect

1. The more assured the influence and efficiency of those causes motives by
the form of which in every government the ruling functionaries are on
every each occasion prompted and urged to concurr in the making
of that the sinister sacrifice, the more strenuous and
and universal must will of course be the endeavours
to conceal from all the eyes of all who are not
do not participate in the benefit of it the existence of the
sacrifice itself, and thence of the existence and the efficiency of
the motives which on each occasion give birth to it.
By action, if sufficiently observed, the demonstration it is on every occasion demonstrated afforded by it, is compleat: for dis
producing the disbelief in it of the existence of it, – for preventing
men from the descrying the through the of
actions, remain as the only recourse which the nature of the
case furnishes or admitts of – professions. In this
case the constitute are the circumstantial evidence which
the nature of the case furnishes profession – more words
the direct evidence. The circumstantial evidence by which
the existence of the sacrifice and the part borne by each man
in the making of it being is demonstrated being conclusive
nothing is left but to the cases, and if possible blind
the eyes, and confound the understanding the conception and
the judgment by an all embracing and unanimous indefatigable and
vehemently and indefatigably urged body of it this same direct evidence;
Mendacious is in every instance this direct evidence evidence which in every instance is mendacious. But
the mendacity of it not being in its nature capable of being rendered
perceptible to some perception by the bodily organs of the Judge charges
addressed in the character
