Where person the

For, setting aside the Pretium affictoinis a wrong
which when its subject matter is Property and nothing
more is in its nature susceptible of compleat and identical
compensation, which is not the case where it is
Person that is the subject matter of the wrong.
Thence it is that where Person has been the
premeditatedly intended subject matter of the
wrong, the mischief of the second order is much
greater than when Property alone has been the
subject matter of the wrong.
