Offences respecting the persons of Individuals.
Persons Under one or other of these names come all
the genera of offences which I propose to consider
under this title.
Rape and Libidinous assaults I shall dismiss
to the title of Offences respecting person and
reputation.
The Crime called unnatural when committed
on a person without consent comes under the head of Rape.
When committed by consent, it is no otherwise
pernicious mischievous to the party who is the object of it
than it is to the agent: It comes not therefore
at all under this class: The class it comes
under is the 4th class; that of Offences against
Morality.
Challenges to fight are invitaitons given
to the party challenged to subject himself at the
hands of the challenger to the calamities hazard
of undergoing the calamities respectively producable
by the first seven genera of offences. A Challenge
therefore
