<p>Official Documents Relative to the closing of the Storthing<lb/>
&amp; the proposed Revision of the Constitutional Pact.</p>
<p>Christiania, Augt 21. &#x2014; The closing of the Storthing of the<lb/>
Kingdom of Norway, having been fixed for to day, the King proceeded<lb/>
at 3 o'clock to the Legislative Hall, in grand state procession<lb/>
composed of the members of the Council of State of the Supreme<lb/>
tribunal, of the Court, numerous General<unclear>s,</unclear> Superior Officers, &amp;<lb/>
the principal Municipal Authorities. Having seated himself on<lb/>
the Throne, his Majesty delivered the following Speech:&#x2014;</p>
<p>(We gave the Speech a few days since.)</p>
<p>The President of the Storthing, M. Sibbern <gap/>, of the Province of <unclear>Smaalehnen</unclear>, in the name of assembly, replied in the following<lb/>
speech:&#x2014;</p>
<p><gap/>!&#x2014; We hail with enthusiasm the day on which, for the<lb/>
first time the Storthing of Norway sees in the midst of them a<lb/>
well beloved King. Welcome <gap/> amongst us: <gap/> to listen to us,<lb/>
with the affection of a father, and be convinced that our words are only<lb/>
the expression of our real sentiments.</p>

& the proposed Revision of the Constitutional Pact.

Christiania, Augt 21. — The closing of the Storthing of the
Kingdom of Norway, having been fixed for to day, the King proceeded
at 3 o'clock to the Legislative Hall, in grand state procession
composed of the members of the Council of State of the Supreme
tribunal, of the Court, numerous Generals, Superior Officers, &
the principal Municipal Authorities. Having seated himself on
the Throne, his Majesty delivered the following Speech:—
