for the trouble, confirmation and, in<lb/>
writing might be elicited from the surrounding<lb/>

<p>The place of it is now taken by Judge<lb/>
B. In what way his situation is that of disadvantage,<lb/>
as compared with that of <del>the</del> Judge A, has been<lb/>
above stated. But how great soever the disadvantage<lb/>
may be in the case of this <hi rend="underline">second</hi> Judge, it will<lb/>
not be greater in the case of a <hi rend="underline">third</hi> Judge: nor, in<lb/>
a word, in the case of the last of any number of<lb/>
successive Judges -</p>
