matter, true it is, that had the signature taken place
accordingly, whatsoever had been the delay incurred down
to that time, no compensation should I ever have applied
for, or proposed to myself to apply for. But,
in point of fact, no such signature did take place, nor
was any reason ever given for why it did not take place. Therefore,
for the any such purpose of as that of lessening my claim for
compensation, now that at last I am come rendered
to make one, there isno more reason can be found
for fixing upon that than upon any other how

of its own delay, for
the same reason for
which it was or
might take advantage
