To supply the deficiency from the same source, I turn to
an Account given of this same prison in general terms, for
a year which as far as I can am able to judge is the same, an
account given by the Revd Mr Becker in his Evidence as
p 37 34 of the abovementioned Appendix: and in this
Account I find d stated as "the total expenses of the Establishment,
Salaries, and every contingency . . . . for the year ending
at Midsummer 1810" for an average of 26 prisoners"
