In case of the making of any such Contract
as had mentioned the Governor may at his discretion
give to any such Pauper a certificate which
shall have the same effect as a Certificate of said

If any Art. Provided also that if any Pauper so contracted for shall be found wandering
abroad endeavouring to settle or committing any
an act of vagrancy in any other Place of Settlement Parish
such Pauper or Vagrant shall be removed or passed
not to the proper such his or her regular place of settlement as aforesaid
but to the Metasylum or other place where he
or she shall have been been or ought to have been under the care of the Governor
as aforesaid: Provided that the but the charge
of such removal shall lie upon the Parish removing
or the Parish to which such Pauper belongs
as the case may be, and not upon the said
Governor.
