Here as before this information had it any use an object?
then why not insert it in both places? – Was it without
an use? object? – then why insert it in either place?

"Paid out of the Civil List of Ireland"? With or without
use, in the one place where it is given what after all does this information amount to?
Is it that in the instance of each of the several offices under-named,
whatsoever money find its way into rests ultimately in the pockets of the
Official persons therein respectively named, or whatsoever
money finds its way on account of each such respective offices out of the pockets
of the defrayers contributors of the expence, be they who they may, comes passes
through the fund called out of the Civil List? This is what from a view of this title were
it the only source of information that offered itself to view
might seem the most natural conclusion. Turn Look however
about an inch lower, viz. upon to the title of the Column of sums,⊞ ⊞ viz Total Amount of Fees and Salaries, this supposition hypothesis
will probably enough be apt to appear no longer tenable. That fees
should in some of the instances here and there an instance payment out of the Civil
List should be made in the shape of fees seems credible has nothing in
it that seems incredible. But that this should be the case
in the instance of every each article, seems even upon the face
of this Column of sums in a supreme degree improbable.
Since of the 30 articles which contained in this 2d contains in nearly
half the sums, viz. such as many be called round
such as those in which sums rounded into such forms
as a salary will naturally assume: which in the other
instances the sums are broken , being the sort of form forms what
an annual mass of emolument will naturally assume,
when things in their nature so uncertain and variable as far
constituted the whole or any part of it.

Thus stands the matter upon the face of the general title of the Column.
But look at the articles: 30 in number, which by
article and you will soon see presently come to this or that articles of which it will be understood
immediately that relation being had either to the nature of the
business or to the magnitude
of the same,
or to both those points,
it is impossible but
that fees, and those not
paid out of the Civil List
must have formed no
inconsiderable part of it.
