Penal Code – Private Offences

Punishable Punished for this offence may be 1. any subject,
permanently or incidental such of the state, in what the dominions
of whatever other state it has been committed. 2. any person
incidentally a subject subject of the state, viz by residence,
of at the offence it be at the time was during such residence
that on his part the offence was by him committed.+ + ☞ May not this be
general under the
head of Persons subject?

In either case, by whatsoever lawful power means
power may be exercised on him by this state, by
any or all such means shall power be exercised
over him for the purpose of applying at his charge
all the several remedies preventive, suppressive, satisfactive
and punitive.

Punitive Remedies

1. Force at discretion option and discretion

2. Inscription in the Black book, in the case of
criminal consciousness, inscription in the Black Book peremptory.

3. In the case of rashness, inscription in the Grey
Book at option.

4. In the case of criminal consciousness stigmatizing
on the forehead by tattooing, at option

5. In the case of criminal consciousness both
times, for the second offence stigmatizing on the forehead by a hot
iron.

6. In the case of criminal consciousness, imprisonment
at option for a any time not greater than years:
maintenance maintenance in prison without forced labour at his own expence, or by forced
labour at discretion, according to his circumstances.
