Art. 22. Besides ☞ as per marginals.

Art. 23. Before, after or during the reception or extraction
of the statement, as may seem most proper, the
Judge will receive or extract from the applicant answers
to a set of questions the object of which is to secure the
Defendant and extraneous witnesses against needless vexation, by rendering the applicant
eventually and effectually responsible for it compensationally and if
need be punitionally: as also for giving facility and
certainty to the all communications between the parties and
the Judicatory during the continuance of the suit.

Art. 24. Follow the heads under which such the information
shall will be received or extracted.
I. In relation to the applicant – the would-be pursuer
1. His name at length.
2. His or her present condition in life in respect of sex, name, profession
or
occupation, age, condition in respect of marriage,
if deemed necessary and abode. Also moreover if deemed necessary

Art. 25. If, in the opinion of the Judge it be necessary or
useful and not otherwise, to the purpose of avoiding the to
subject the party or parties on the Defendant's side to needless
and undue vexation by means of a groundless suit instituted aimed
at that sinister end the Judge will examine him for the
purpose of ascertaining in what shape or shapes, if in any, he
will give security against such abuse of the powers of justice.

Art. 26. The nature and efficiency effective force of this security will
be determined by the joint consideration of the magnitude of the
hardship to which the defendant may be subjected by summons
or if necessary by prehension with attendant shock to reputation,
partly by the sufficiency or insufficiency of such pledge
as the applicant may shall be able and willing to furnish for the
purpose of affording adequate eventual and adequate compensation
to the Defendant.
