§. 3. Demand paper – Explanation
Art. 1. In any case, to constitute an apt ground
for such proceedings as on the occasion of this same suit it
may eventually be ne become necessary to convey in a
future, as well as for various other purposes, it will be necesary
that of whatsoever material discourse or other act has place in relation to the suit is done
or said in the judicatory Justice Chamber or elsewhere
a record may be made by apt apt minutation, as

Art. 2. Of this record the groundwork will be
a paper portion of discourse containing a statement of the demand made on the pursuers
side. With a paper containing this discourse must have commenced
the suit business even supposing all parties at the same moment
in attenda present: for before any thing can be granted
what must first have been known is – what it is that is
wanted.
Art. 3. This paper call it the Pursuers

delivery made by the an applicant of a paper of this sort
composed of a printed form with blanks appropriately
filled up, made in the Judicatory by an applicant to the Judge – commencement
is given to the suit: and thus to wit, whether
the suit be destined or expected to be as above, terminated
in the course of that same hearing, or continued not till
some future hearing.
