VI
It may happen that in where Hundred in a single
Hundred small or thinly peopled, there may not
be Justices enough to act: Therefore, possibly also a Hundred
division, to save may may be so populous and extensive, as that,a still further the burthen of travelling may be admissible. Therefore
& To the Justices in Sessions for the whole County is committed
the Power of marking not more extensive or
less extensive Jurisdictions than single Hundreds.
Among Yet let their discretion in this matter govern itself
by the old division into Hundreds as near as
may be.

For the reasons given in the 5th Article From the proceedings of Justices a licensing Sessions
in granting or refusing licences there shall be
no Appeal: but for his concurrance to a grant or refusal founded opining founded
upon corrupt motives as also for the attempt any endeavour to annex
conditions to the grant conditions not warranted by
Law See Art ...., founded on like motives, re Justice shall
be punishable.
Corrupt motives are those of <add>Lucre or enmity or favour</add> malice or partiality.
It is partiality when the the benefit
rather of some individual or assemblage of individuals
them of the public.
Of more interest as [if a Justice were to concur in granting
a licence in] expectation if the consideration <add>were of having received or being</add>
to receive money or money's worth.
