TURNP. ACT. New - Adjective. I ss 51.

Forfeitures given by this may be recover'd by either Summary or Regular Pecuniary forfeitures given by this Act or any other <add>Turnpike Act concerning </add> shall be recover'd
if not more than where they amounting to £20 exclusive of costs
shall be prosecuted for in a summary manner way
before one Justice of Peace, or before Trustees in
the cases specified by in Art. . .d, before Trustees:
when amounting to more than £20, by in the
regular way where pecuniary by Action in some Court at Westminster -
Forfeitures shall be recoverable
in a summary manner way only: The summary way shall be [+] [+] before any one a Justice or in the cases specified in Art.... before Trustees.
A Justice shall be competent to act as such, notwithstanding
his being a Trustee
