Another offence for which subjects to an Attachment, is that of publishing without
authority the transactions of Courts. Qu. on what cases founded? These are the Landmarks by which
any man is to shape his conduct. On the one hand They are therefore supposed to be known the
knowledge of them is the concern of every man: the ignorance of them excuses
no man. The Law then, to be sure, takes effectual care that they shall be
published? Colgate's tables No such thing — But at least it permits who him that will to do it
No such thing Nor that neither — it permitts no man. He that does it is a criminal There are many, tho' not enough, that do, but in so doing the offend the Law.

Miserable is the slavery of that nation, people where the Law is unsettled or unknown. So hath he

as if the saying had not been applicable to our ours. own . As yet the maxim aphorism thus repeated, is
