Art. 2. . And whereas it was originally intended that<lb/>
the said Penitentiary House should be erected on a<lb/>
certain spot at Battersea Rise containing 79 Acres<lb/>
and one Road, as in the said Act of the 34<hi rend='superscript'>th</hi> year<lb/>
of his Majesty's Reign is mentioned, and that the<lb/>
number of <del>Convicts</del> <add>Prisoners</add> which such Penitentiary House<lb/>
should be calculated to accomodate in the first instance<lb/>

Clause B - Supplemental Article Article 2

Art. 2. . And whereas it was originally intended that
