§. 6. Attendance.
Enactive.
Art. 1. Art. 2. Attendance, how enforced. By the Regis-
-trar is regularly framed and kept the Quasi Jury De-
-faulter's list. In it are two sublists: 1. the County De-
-faulter's list, and 2. the Town Defaulter's List. To the
name of each Defaulter, as soon as he becomes so,
the Registrar attaches an indication of the fact and
the day, and of the proceedings carried on in conse-
-quence.

Art. 2. For the penalty for each days default, as
well on the part of the Select as on the part of an Or-
-dinary destined Quasi Juror, see the Penal Code.
In lieu of, or even in addition to compensation mo-
-ney, for the overburthened liables who have served,
penalty for each day's default, so many days im-
-prisonment: name of the fund into which the mo-
-ney is paid, the Overburthen Quasi Jurors Compen-
-sation fund. In so far as the penalty is pecuni-
-ary, the money is paid into a fund, stiled the Com-
-pensation fund: out of it, to such TownQuasi Jurors
as have served, compensation is made for the but-
-then brought upon them by default, whether on the
part of the Country, or of the Town Stock of Quasi Jurors.

Art. 3. On receipt of an appropriate instrument
of requisition, signed by any [ ] Town Locables,
who have served, the Government Advocate will
institute pursuit, on the ground of default.

Art. 4 On receipt of a like instrument signed
by any [two] such Liables, alledging falshood to have
been committed by an assertion contained in any such
Excuse papers as per Art. 4, § 3. Located how. Art. 30 particularizing the alledged
false assertion, and binding themselves, on their responsi-
-bility compensational & punitional, to make sufficient proof
of the falsity, he will institute a suit, demanding the appropriate punishment.
