<p>And be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid, that<lb/> the Justices of Oyer and Terminer and of His Peace for <lb/> the City of London, the aforesaid Justices of Oyer and Terminer <lb/> for the said Parishes in the Borough of Southwark or County <lb/> of Surrey and the Justices of the Peace for the said Borough,<lb/> the Justices of Oyer and Terminer and of His peace for the<lb/> County of Middlesex and His Justices of the Peace for the City of<lb/> Westminster Shall and they are howby authorized and required<lb/> notwithstanding the fitting of the Court of Kings Bench<lb/> within the same County within their several and respective<lb/> Jurisdictions to hold a sessions once in every week in the<lb/> year at the following times and places that is to say; In the<lb/> City of London every Monday, the Borough of Southward<lb/> every Tuesday, the County of Middlesex every Friday and the<lb/> City of Westminster every Thursday, and the said prospective<lb/> weekly sessions shall be holden only to inquire of hear<lb/> and determine all Treasons Felonies, Misdemeanours — <lb/> breaches of the peace except Assaults and Assault and Battery<lb/> and all such Offences as may hereafter be committed against<lb/> a Statute made in the Seventeenth Year of the reign of his <lb/> late Majesty King George the second <sic>intitled</sic> "an Act to<lb/> amend and make more effectual the laws relating to Rogues — <lb/> vagabonds and other idle and disorderly persons and to houses<lb/> of correction," and all Offences that may hereafter be committed<lb/> against any such Statute or Statutes as have been or</p> | |||
