But, here as before, the words employed in the penning of the Query
that suppressing it the study of Mr Chief Inspector

have been found, - Of the "fresh acknowledgment so
tendered, he it says nothing: but a requisition is entered
by which the Accountant is required to produce "the
"receipt:" and this a requisition expressed by Mr Chief Inspector in these terms, lying before him, in which,
it had with careful discrimination it had been declared
in so many words: "the receipt not forthcoming" and consequently not capable of being produced.
