<p><add><unclear>Publick</unclear></add> News I have none to tell you but what is or will

be in the <sic>News-papers</sic>. The news of the day is that
<lb/>
a Quebec Gazette <unclear>is come over</unclear> of the 24<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> or 26<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> last
<lb/>
I forget which. It brings advice of the demolition of the
<lb/>
Rebel Fleet upon the Lakes. It consisted of 15 Vessels
<lb/>
12 were <sic>destroyd</sic> or taken; the remaining three for the
<lb/>
present escaped &#x2014; particulars are promised in the next
<lb/>
Gazette M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Lind's M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Clark got this intelligence
<lb/>
from the Post office this afternoon; at which <unclear>place</unclear>
<lb/>
a paper was <sic>handd</sic> about to the effect above mentioned
<lb/>
a copy of which he <sic>shew'd</sic> me.</p>
<p>There is said to be a terrible crash among the W.

India Merchants. One <unclear>posted</unclear> <!-- failed? --> for <sic>700,000 £</sic>.

Publick News I have none to tell you but what is or will
be in the News-papers. The news of the day is that
a Quebec Gazette is come over of the 24th or 26th last
I forget which. It brings advice of the demolition of the
Rebel Fleet upon the Lakes. It consisted of 15 Vessels
