And Whereas it may happen, that a<lb/><note>3<lb/>-- <hi rend="underline">revocable</hi> at any time<lb/>with the concurrence of<lb/>the Governor --</note><lb/>quondam Penitentiary Prisoner after having through<lb/>experience or of confidence in his good behaviour been released<lb/>more or less from such subjection, may come in process of<lb/>time to abuse such indulgence, & to fall back into evil<lb/>courses Be it enacted that such Emancipatory Release<lb/>or License may at any time be annulled by any proper<lb/><hi rend="underline">Deed</hi> of <hi rend="underline">Revocation</hi> in the execution of which the Governor<lb/><lb/>and such Guardian shall have concurred.</p><p>Art. 4. Such Guardian if no such Emancipatory<lb/><note>4<lb/>In default of such<lb/>emancipation, the Ward may<lb/>be surrendered at any<lb/>time to the Metasylum --</note><lb/>Release of <sic>Licence</sic> shall have been executed by him in favour<lb/>of such his Ward, may at any time surrender up the body<lb/>of the said Ward to the Governor or his Representative at the<lb/>Metasylum.</p><p>Art. 5. Moreover in case of his apprehending any<lb/><note>5<lb/>Warrant of <hi rend="underline">Assistance</hi><lb/>grantable for that purpose --</note><lb/>hindrance or molestation in his endeavours to make such<lb/>surrender as aforesaid, he may on application to any one Justice<lb/>of the Peace obtain a Warrant of Assistance commanding<lb/>all persons in general and in particular all Sheriffs Constables<lb/>and other his Majesty's Officers & Ministers as well within<lb/>liberties as without throughout Great Britain to be assistant<lb/>to him therein: which said Warrant shall be in force<lb/>as well without as within the regular local jurisdiction of<lb/>such Justice.</p><p>Art. 6.</p> | ||
