So also, in case of non acceptance,<lb/><note>16<lb/>-- also to accept or not the<lb/>proffer of another --</note><lb/>whether to give to the Prisoner or not the option of<lb/>proffering another person in the room of the person so<lb/>rejected.</p><p>Art. 17. And Whereas the Governor will<lb/><note>17<lb/>Examinant living within<lb/>ten miles of the Penitentiary<lb/>House, Governor<lb/>may require him to be<lb/>there re-examined --</note><lb/>have a common interest with the Public in the good<lb/>behaviour of the liberated Penitentiary-Man and thereby<lb/>in the character &amp; sufficiency of his Friendly Guardian,<lb/>And Whereas in the Metropolis &amp; its vicinity<lb/>persons of doubtful character will by reason of the<lb/>greatness</p>
