X) and not being able to produce<lb/> some such instrument as aforesaid, the same<lb/> being also according to the nature thereof within<lb/> date & unexpired, shall (unless it being within<lb/> the time of such instruments being in force the<lb/> same should appear to have been by any accident<lb/> lost or defaced) be deemed <hi rend="underline">primâ</hi> <hi rend="underline">facie</hi> a fugitive<lb/> from the Penitentiary House, or a Deserter from<lb/> his service at the Metasylum, to the purpose<lb/> of being liable to be apprehended as such & <lb/>convey'd to the said Penitentiary House as herein<lb/> after specified.</p> | |||
