<p>Art.7. Upon the trial of any Prisoner for felony, <lb/> the Court of its own motion may, and upon application<lb/> made by or on behalf of any person interested shall cause<lb/> the prisoner to be searched for an identification mark, and<lb/> if any such mark or traces thereof be found and the same<lb/> agrees with any identification mark in the above mentioned<lb/> table contained, the Court if it be not a case where the amount<lb/> of the damage is already found of course shall in case of<lb/> conviction give in charge to the Jury to enquire into and<lb/> find the amount of such damage according to the mode<lb/> of estimation abovementioned+: and the amount thereof as<lb/> found by the Jury shall entered on the Record.</p>

The Court shall thereupon cause to be drawn <lb/> by any such proper Officer as aforesaid a Bill or Bills of<lb/> exchange upon the Governor for the amount of the damage <lb/> so found, in favour of any such person or persons by <lb/> whom the same appears to have been sustained: which<lb/> said Bills may be termed <hi rend="underline">Indemnification Draughts</hi>:<lb/> and may be conceived <foreign><hi rend="underline">mutatis mutandis</hi></foreign> according to the form<lb/> marked [H.] and in consideration of the circumstances<lb/> of any such person the Court may make an order upon the <lb/> Treasurer of the County to pay the amount thereof at sight, <lb/> in the same manner as for the <sic>expences</sic> of prosecution<lb/> under the Statute of the 25<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> of George the 2<hi rend="superscript">nd</hi>, Chapter 36. <add>such</add></p>
