The very great attention <sic>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></sic>I meet with and the haste I wish to make to reach —<lb/> Catherineberg before the Thaw will I foresee prevent any <lb/>sitting down for an hour to write such a Letter as I <sic>co<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> </sic><lb/> wish till I reach that place. There, however, as I must<lb/>stay <sic>till</sic> the Roads are passable, I think nothing can <lb/>prevent my fulfilling so essential a part of my Duty.</p> <p>I have just now been dining with the <unclear>(akeese)</unclear> —<lb/>Arch-Bishop of this Place,and am now as full of <lb/><hi rend="underline">Blessings</hi> and of good cheer as a man need be, the <lb/>former seemed to be given in proportion as I accepted<lb/>of the latter. The rigorous fast observed at this season<lb/>was broke through on my account.
