<p>who have any command soever, to see<lb/>
&amp; give such orders, so as that M.<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="underline">r</hi><lb/>
Bentham may be shown every thing<lb/>
worth his notice, &amp; that he may not be<lb/>
neglected with respect to good &amp; proper<lb/>
Necessaries, more especially as his being<lb/>
unacquainted with the Roads, &amp; the<lb/>
Russ Language, together with the distance<lb/>
of the Journey, may require the<lb/>
more help as a Foreigner, <unclear>pailing</unclear> him<lb/>
that knowledge of the Country &amp; Customs<lb/>
of the People, which a Russ traveller<lb/>
might be possessed off. I hope<lb/>
that all Gentlemen Commanders every<lb/>
one according to his Station &amp; the Duty<lb/>
he is entrusted with, will not fail to<lb/>
do M.<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Bentham all the Service he<lb/>
may desire, whereby he may be contented<lb/>
with your Intentions, Remain<lb/>
