licences by the
Board

First sittings for granti of the Board for granting
the London</add< Licences, the 6th of Septr next with the following
and so on like the business is explain gone through. The
Licences to be in form for a Year, commencing the
29th of Sept. <add> Licences to be signed by a <add> majority of the quorum of the Board</add> Licence duties to be paid to the
Board or their Receiver.

First sittings meetings of Justices for granting the
Country Licences, the 1st of Septr &c as above. Licences
to be in form for a Year, commencing the 29th of Septr
as before above. Licence Duties to be paid before the signing of the Licence to the local
Officer of the Board, (the Surveyor) , also giving who shall give his receipt, and if
the Licence be refused, return the money —

Power to King in Council to appoint an earlier first
licencing time than as above. Licences granted at such
extraordinary time, to expire at the above ordinary time: and the duties to be proportional to the time the licences will have to run

by a

Notices to be given by a person intending to
apply for a licence if the Shop &c be
in London, to the Board; if in
the Country, to the Justices and the Surveyor — Notices
to contain the names and abodes of the Surety or
Sureties who are to join in the Recognizance — Form
of the notice as per Schedule A [A] or such <add> any other
Form or shall form from time to time appointed by the
Board — Interval of Notice, in London 20 days;
with a Certificate of character the same as in case
of Alehouses — Power to the Board and to <add. in London </add> as well
as to the Justices in the Country to examine the Candidate
and others as to his fitness to be intrusted
with a licence.
