him with an attentif Eye, gave him her hand,
and smiled when he kissed it. Sir James Harris
who shews him more than common civilities,
has since that time introduced him into the
best societys at Petersbourg, where he began
to feel himself quite domicile, till the Empress's
Journey to Maguiloff gave him a handle of
snatching himself away from amidst his home,
