(7) § 18 9. Provided always and be it enacted, that if,
for the purpose of enquiry into the truth of any any matter of
allegations fact respecting the character and or behaviour
of any person applying to be lic for a licence,
or for any other necessary purpose it should be
found necessary at any time to adjourn such sitting
