<p>In my Letter from S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> Petersburgh<lb/> I told you Col. <unclear>Gorsiosky</unclear> promised to send <lb/> me off immediately after a stay of 3 weeks. he <lb/> at last dispatched me - I was only nine <lb/>Days from  Petersburgh there - Mr Popoff <gap/> <lb/> your Dispatches &amp; myself remarkably well. <lb/></p>
<p>The Prince has spoke a little with me <lb/> &amp; told me <add>at that time</add> he would talk with me again<lb/>
some Days have elapsed &amp; he has yet said noth<lb/>
ing more - I know not when I shall be des<lb/>
patched - I assure you I am thoroughly<lb/>
weary of this place - The Prince holds a great <lb/>
Court here, he amuses the Moldavians with <lb/>
Plays, Concerts, Balls, Fireworks &amp; every <lb/>
Evening. We have continued fresh weather <lb/>up to the knees in mud, I have a great <lb/> deal of News to tell you in person, which <lb/> prudence prevents me writing<lb/></p>

at last dispatched me - I was only nine
Days from Petersburgh there - Mr Popoff
your Dispatches & myself remarkably well.

The Prince has spoke a little with me
