making it the ground of a trade which might serve in
time to set him upon his own legs. A rough sort of cal-
-culation was made according to which my Brother was
to receive such a price to indemnify him for the prastel,
duty, carriage & all other expences, and all above that
was to be Benson's own, he not standing to any of the
wish. I forget what it was computed his profit would
amount to: I think something morer fifty than forty
pound. Customers were accordingly found for it at
the price proposed amongst my Brother's friends. When my Brother came
to speak with them, he found that Benson before he set
off for Priga, had written them letters, telling them the
cloth was his, and forbidding their paying for it to my
Brother.

In addition to the other sums 200 Roubles mentioned in my Brother's this letter
of my Brother to him and the 50 Roubles he had to
pay for him to Col. Korsakoff, I find he has received
on my Brother's account the following sums

This is exclusive of his expences from Priga to Crichoff
and I believe if I am not mistaken of the 10 guineas, which if his freig expences from London to Priga
He acknowledges besides 10 Roubles laid out for articles
of clocp at Priga the second time of his being at Priga
and I think my Brother says he spent other many of his
besides in the same way of which 90 rubles appear in the books which B set dome again at herself but of this I am not sure.

Since his arrival at Priga he has transmitted a more
particular account of the R<hi rend="superscript">o</hi> 300: how far it is satis-
-factory to my Brother I do not know as since his ar- return
-rived from Chisson and the Crisis where he sat with unex- had a long
-pected which to dangle after the Prince the little town we have
