"No 39, Mr Poores account" Before I enter into the particulars
of Mr Poores account, it may be necessary to observe that
I did require particulars from him, but observing at the same time
that "he best knew what would required" this I supposed he would
be well acquainted with, in consequence of his frequent mercantile
transactions with the Note; & I have all along held up to him
that the Note would have to examine these accounts, & that they
would probably be scrutinized with an unusual degree of attention
Article 4 "least paid" I request an explanation of the Note observations
on this head, as I am at a loss to make up any sum
of the amount of 266.11.2 forwhich no services are mentioned.
