I wish you could send me a few seeds of some ornamental and
sweet smelling flowers to grow in small pots within doors: but
this commission is not worth you giving yourself much trouble about,
you will have business enough without it while all the time Notman
is with you. I am waiting for what information or assistance
Notman may bring me about Malt spirits before I make any
alterations to the Distillery here. Shipbuilding goes on but
the glass fabrick is my hobby horse at present. I must however
begin my Marine experiments as soon as the River opens.
I am happy that I shall have full time to build my
great Galley to my mind.
