Devonshire Square
30 April 1792

My dear Sir

I took the liberty of leaving cards
to request the favour of your company & that of Colonel
Bentham on Tuesday the 8.th in the expectation that
you would meet some of your friends on that day.
but I find from Mrs. Baring that the party will
meet here on Sunday next when I hope you can
indulge us with your company. — And if you
are also disengaged on Tuesday the 8.th We shall
dine at home when We may talk over the very
strange & extraordinary situation of affairs on the
Continent. Will you be so good as to mention this
to your Brother & believe me
Most truly & faithfully
Yours
Jh Baring
