19. Called at Effingham Wilsons for his receipt for Books sent him 17th Inst - gave it J.B.- GAve to Mr Place's Man, at his requet and at J.B's desire, the 52d vol. Statutes.G.III 20. Desired J.P. to take from J.B. £1 in behalf of the Birmingham Black book-sellers under prosecution.
