between Husband & wife. 4thly Cruelty or willfull
neglect on the part of the Husband which have
excited drawn an <add> kindled</add> the hatred of the wife: or lastly
infirmities of mind or body which have drawn
on him her contempt. Of these several causes
by much the greater part carry an Imputation
either doubtful or certain upon the Husband.

far as regards that particular Woman, he
possesses not the power of pleasing, & that his
