Bridge: it lies above the Bridge, between the Bridge
and Battersea Church: from which it is separated
by a distance which as far as your Memorialist
recollects seems not to be above 50 or 100 yards.
It is bounded on the North by the River Thames:
on the East by the Great Road leading strait to
Clapham, and remaining continuing in a straight line
from the bridge: on the North by the Road issuing
on the right at right angles from the
road last before mentioned at right angles, and leading
to Battersea town: on the West by a range of
buildings belonging to a Distillery or some such
manufactory
