or disapprobation in proportion to its tendency<lb/>
to to contribute to, or to diminish the amount of public<lb/>
happiness &#x2014; And the public sanction will, insofar as<lb/>
the subject is understood be given to that line of<lb/>
conduct which most promotes the public<lb/>
happiness &#x2014; is a <del>core</del> corollary requiring no<lb/>
arguments for its establishment.</p>
