CERTAINTY EVIDENCE - Standing rules reprobated.

Against Judges exposed to exterior influence, ruminated
to & removable from a lucrative office
at the pleasure of men in power, without the check
of the judgment of a public audience, I enquire know not
how far it may be a prudent precaution, to set
up marks limits to set the future of the accused upon of , the serpassing of which may be obnoxious
to detection , & to hard whereon to rest the fate of the accused upon
some circumstances at least not out of their controul;
but to Judges this so anxiously & successfully stripped
of every wish or motive but to do right, as are our
Juries, this question I should think might in criminal matters stand in
the placed of all rules of Evidence that have been
devised [+] [+]Are you, from what you may have now heard in Court enough satisfied of the truth of the charge against this man , to find him guilty ? To are evil which is certain possible but not probable, they establish one that is certain.
