Matters for the
Functions Determination of the
Commissioners

Sect.7. Functions of Matters to be determined upon by the Commissioner

4. As to Lot C — 1. To allott Land for the
new Alm's House — 2. To allott the Rector of St Johns
share of this part in lieu of Tithes. 3. To determine
as between the Dean and Chapter and the United
Parishes, what part, oif any, of this Lot shall respectively be
allotted to him in kind — whether the Parishes
shall hold their part, if any, from under or independently
of the Dean & Chapter — [+] whether by

As for [1} The powers given to the Commissioners in this
behalf are made as comprehensive as possible, for the
purpose of affording them every possible facility for
meeting the wishes as well as providing for the
interests of the parties, according to the quantity of legal
interest which they have found respectively to possess.
It ishas been understood, that the Parishes wish for Land
whereon to build a new Poor House. The
allotment above made of the part of the so much Land, instead of its being
added to the Spot intendedseparate provided for the Penitentiary Establishment
had principally in view the meeting of that wish.
