Radicalism

II Nature of the case
the Case
§.7. Other spoliation impossible
Of All conceivable
plans sof
the the execution
being thus proved
to be impossible,
challenge to antireadicalists
to produce
one which
will not upon the
of it be seen
to be in the same case.

Every conceivable planever has been proposed by the accomplishment of which the
alleged mischief in question and plausible because be perfectly the subversion of the rights of property
would be affected, and create and affection share it being thus disposed of, and the accomplishment
of it being over and over again shewn proved to be
, I do say that to bring to view any such plan
impossible, it is not too soon, it is hoped, to declare it so to be
is impossible. I accordingly challenge all anti radicalists to bring
to view any other plan which having that subversion for its object shall
any now, upon the face of it be seen by every body to be impossible: and if, being unable to bring
to view any such plan a man will stillnotwithstanding be is
the affection withstanding that there may be, and eventually
will be proposed such a plan, and that men the people
will not open it, I must leave it to be any one
to say whether it be in the nature of the case that <add>he</add> one person who it
says this should believe his own affection to be true. [
own affection to be true.

I Not a step stone
stopped by impossibilities by dissembly insuperable.

25 Dec 1819 Quere whether to employ which Further? here or elsewhere?

At every step the description was taken takes, antiradicalists 45
At such impossibility
"nonsense. I could you
" I meant this."
cries the antiradicalist.
What then did you mean?

readers, if any such it should have will off course have been be turning and
from it such disgust, and exclaiming — crying — We did not mean may they
" of all this — <add>can it ever have been your belief</add>how can it be that any thing that
"so palpably abroad could have been meant by anybody?

Well then if you didi not mean this what did you
mean? do you know what it is you meant? have you you
at any time known what it was you meant? You, by where, in every the most offensive
shape you could find
opprobium has for
so many years been
poured forth - poured
forth, not only upon
such multitudes
by ab opprobium
but poured forth offensive shape poured
forth and only allowing upon such numbers multitude which to you
is nothing but up not only upon such
much moral work m which to you is again in as nothing - but
upon so many men of even of much pecuniary worth
and even high reach - which to you is every thing.

Say whatthen at length what it is you mean!
