even and above those already referred to,
examples (as) here follow. But note that they are
but examples. For, so as bodily pain or uneasiness
to a material amount is but produced, and
produced by an act accompanied with the design
of producing it, whether singly, and to the
exclusion of other such effects, or undiscriminatelyingly,
in conjunction with a chance of producing either
one or more of such effects, it matters not in
what shape, or by what means, the corporal
vexation - the bodily suffering - is produced.
