I have to acknowledge your letter of the 8 th
instant, received yesterday at this place.
My answer has been written, and copied, and wants
for nothing but my revisal I can to promise
the dispatch of it from this place before this
week is at an end. ] When it arrives, the commissioner
will find, if it was only from the Cuytte of it
that I have not been . On grappling with
the subject, it was not without concern that I found
how far the manner which I had if is at
a distance, was from proving correct. The
need of access to the papers in respect of which
