Radicalism not dangerous Conclusion

Conclusion.

The danger then to the ruling few from radicalism
from the subject many is visionary. the apprehension,
groundless. But the danger to the subject
many from the ruling few is real: or to speak
properly is realized: for the mischief being present
has got already beyond the line of danger.

The subject many can neither destroy nor to with
any advantage to themselves so much as attempt to materially
injure the property of the ruling few, without an a compleat
at least equally prompt distraction to themselves.
This is so plain, manifest that the blindest among
them can not avoid seeing it. They will therefore
make no such attempt. Of Their attempts of their
very wishes the only object will be power: superfluous quantity of that
power or a part of it more or less considerable which the ruling few have in their hands
which they they have made so bad a use of in so enormous a degree they have abused,
and which it is not in the nature of man
that they should possess without abusing it.
