Any offences of all kinds

Whenever a man lays a wager on the
affirmative side concerning the happening of
any event, he has an interest to the amount
of the wage in the taking place of such event.
If the event be of the number of those which are
looked upon as being
of a pernicious or dangerous
nature either in themselves
or in the case of their
pernicious, either looked upon as being attended by pernicious consequences attended by the appear as to of either pernicious of themselves or upon their
