Sir

It appearing from an
inspection of the Half Yearly Imprest
Rolls received into this Office from the
Exchequer, that the Sum of £2,000 has
been Imprested to you upon Account
between 14th July and 11th July 1794
to build a Penitentiary House at
Battersea, of which no Account appears
to have been rendered, I am directed
by the commissioners for Auditing the
Public Accounts to desire that you
will make up & transmit to this
Office on or before Wednesday the 15th
July next an Account of the said Sum,
& likewise of any other Sums that
