mentioned have been paid for by Genl
Bentham a regular stampt receipt
from Booth & Co is required to evidence
the payment.

The paper relating to the delivery of the
Articles and purporting to contain Copies
of Invoices appearing to be an extract
only from Messrs Booth & Co Acct book,
& copies of copies in part only of the
original Invoices and it being stated
in the Accountant's pencil observation
at the foot of Messrs Booth & Co's certified
Account that the original Invoices never came into his hands, he is
required to account for the reason they were not received as well as the
other original Invoices, and to furnish proof that the Articles item'd in
these extracts from these Books were actually received by him.
