"Description of the Voucher, disbursed by Mr John Lloyd Master Millwright,
Foreman of the Works as carried on at Queen Sq Place, and elsewhere,
at the expence and in the dwelling House of this Accountant &c
for the construction of Machinery to serve for the employment of
Convicts, being paid in Wages to Workmen employed in the said
works.

Preamble. proposition the 1st. "The Books delivered

The observation I have to make to
on this proposition must be possessed requires a previous
observation on the two next
Preamble — proposition the 2d — "and it not appearing
by whom the payments were made".
Answer.
In At the end of my account stands a paragraph
already mentioned intituled Query respecting the mode of proof: — it in
which, paragraph stands in speaking of the application of the money which is the subject of this article, it is expressly stated, that Mr
John Lloyd, of whom a further account whose relation to the
whole business of a full description is given in the Account,
made the application of that money: and, in that
same paragraph, a tender is made of his testimony,
to be delivered in what manner so ever it may be
the pleasure of the Board to direct: proposing for example
either an Affidavit, on the supposition that if the Board Commissioners
are provided with my pre appointed form, adapted
to the case; or personal examination, at the option of
the Board.
In either way, or in any way in which the testimony
of this person were received, it would [+] appear by [+] have approved if that had this
