<p>Of juridical vexations the principal modifications <lb/>may be enumerated as follows that<lb/>the idea as there may be the more precise<lb/>they may be discriminated respectively by the<lb/>means of the several sorts of acts which<lb/>if productive of the same unpleasant effects<lb/>by any other means i:e: by any other course of<lb/>action & not in the course of the proceedings<lb/>thus carried on in a suit at law they would<lb/>constitute the offences thus denominated.<lb/></p><p>These modifications of forensic vexation are<lb/>1. Consumption of time understood in a way supposed<lb/>to be unpleasant. 2. Confinement in respect of<lb/>place: obligation of being in some place in which<lb/>it is unpleasant or prejudicial to a man to be.<lb/>obligation of not being in some place in which <gap/><lb/>be pleasant or advantageous to a man to be.<lb/>3<hi rend="superscript">ly</hi>. Pecuniary expence loss or charge. 4 — Anxiety<lb/>of mind a pain grounded on the apprehension<lb/>of being subject to one or more of the modifications<lb/>of inconvenience above mentioned.
